Cover Reveal: Aliens in the Barn

I am so excited to introduce my upcoming story, "Aliens in the Barn: 4 Short Stories of Mech Alien Romance and Misadventure."

And here is the cover!

I've been learning about how to make book covers and using Photoshop to edit and recolor objects and various things. And, oh my gosh, I am so delighted that I designed this cover myself! It took a long time, but I learned so much while doing this project. I feel like I could teach a class on it, lol.

Book Blurb:

Four short stories of romance between Bazin and Miaxa, two alien beings from the planet Beryll. Finding themselves on a previously unknown planet, Earth, they grow fond of a human family. Cultural misunderstandings are a constant, the day-in-the-life misadventures of Bazin and Miaxa and their human friends.

Modeled after "Life in Pieces," the stories inside follow the daily lives of the Maddox family with their out of this world residents.

Aliens in the Barn:

--There’s a mechanical extraterrestrial living in Alex’s barn, but what will happen if the alien’s wife arrives? Wait, Bazin’s married?

Scared to Death:

--Beth has been married to Alex for over a year and he still can't make it home for dinner. Why does he and his coworker friend spend so much time working on that truck in the barn?

The Skellyd Hunters:

--With a core-bonded strength few understand, Bazin and Miaxa are Beryll's finest warriors. Sometimes they go a little too far and Andler is left with the consequences, for better or worse.

Meet Douglas Fir:

--Being human isn't easy with robotic alien residents misunderstanding the simple stuff. Alex can't imagine his family life without Bazin and Miaxa, however. Time to have them over for Christmas.

This book is coming very soon to an e-reader near you. It will be available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple, Page Foundry (Inktera), and 24Symbols.

Happy reading!

SFR Brigade Showcase: Romancing the Stars #SFRB #SciFi #Romance

Welcome to June's SFR Brigade Showcase! Here you'll find new releases, recommended reads, and fun topics. Everyone participating in this month's showcase can be found here: SFR Brigade Showcase . Go check out their posts too. :)

There has been a lot of buzz on the interwebs about SFR Brigade's Portals. When that project was proposed, many new ideas were tossed around. One of the spin-offs was a new anthology, a project I was happy to be able to participate in.

Eight Brigade authors came together to create eight science fiction romance stories. We each read the stories and helped each author to create wonderful SFR with enough varieties to entice a wide audience. The SFR Brigade is a great group with lots of supportive authors, readers, cover designers, and editors. We are very happy to have this new anthology for pre-order, but the official release date is June 28th.

Check out this great cover!
